An especially nice petite 19th Century French Empire style ‘Capitone’ armchair, the stuffed and stitched horse-hair back, arms and seat all deeply buttoned, the square scrolling back and arms above a deep buttoned seat, raised on pretty turned ebonised legs and original horn castors, carefully restored and traditionally reupholstered, covered in a hand dyed vintage dark blue linen with beautiful little silver buttons. French, circa 1870
Condition: In sturdy condition, but having a very slight twist to the frame.
