An extremely comfortable Howard and Sons open armchair, the fixed cushion back over an upholstered seat with loose down and feather seat cushion, flanked by upholstered armrests supported by curved uprights finished on each side with a moulded panel, raised on conforming square tapered front legs and curved out-swept back legs with original brass castors. Stamped '6330 363' to the inside rear leg. English, circa 1890 
 
All in good sturdy condition, the fabric left as found and a bit frayed at the edges but perfectly nice and usable for the timebeing.
