Late C19th Victorian Slipper Chair

A late 19th Century Victorian Slipper Chair with an elegantly curved back and shaped seat covered in original striped silk damask and raised on turned ebonised legs with original brass and ceramic castors. The real appeal of this chair is that it remains in completely original condition, not that this means it doesn’t need recovering, but that all the original upholstery reference is there to be copied faithfully, and the frame has only had one set of tacks knocked into it during its whole life, which is quite rare. English circa 1870.
