A fabulous original pair of English late 18th Century ribbon ladder back side chairs, each shaped and pierced rail centred by a quatrefoil, over a rope-rush seat, raised on plain turned straight front legs with slightly tapering feet, the turned back legs softly out-swept, braced on each side by pairs of spindle stretchers. In really good condition, with newly rushed seats.
